I was inevitably drawn to psy-trance because of its proximity to Waldfrieden (an event venue just round the corner). One of the big names in the scene is Neelix. You first hear ‘1000 Sterne’ at Nature One. For me, that was my introduction to the genre. The vocals stick in your head; it’s pure atmosphere in a huge crowd.— ZEISMAN

To me, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo were one of the most extraordinary producer duos of all time. It felt as though every track they released was a hit, and they were not only incredibly successful commercially but also adored by DJs operating outside the mainstream. ‘Around the World’ was one such track, and Thomas Nan’s remix is, in my view, one of the best.— ZEISMAN

I started DJing in 1997, took a break of almost 20 years, then rediscovered my love of mixing. These days, I record house and other electronic music mixes up in my attic.
As a child of the ’80s, I love synths, big melodies and songs that stay with you. You'll hear that love in my mixes today.
Every mix is recorded in one session. No post-production. A few imperfections are part of it — so is the joy of the music. A track that gives you goosebumps. A transition that lands just right. And maybe someone whose day is a little better for listening. That's why I do this.
